Getting Started

Do you service my area?

Clean Arrival is a local Portland company servicing the greater metro area, including Hillsboro, Beaverton, Downtown, Gresham, and Tigard.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

We bring it all. Our professionals are provided with everything they need to ensure a top notch clean for your home. You don’t need to provide a thing.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Of course! Our booking page allows you to select from a number commonly requested tasks in addition to our basic cleans. These include such tasks as interior oven and fridge cleans, use of green products, laundry, and windows. Don’t see what you need? Feel free and shoot us an email with your request and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I book my first appointment?

We’ve made booking easy. Throughout our site you can hit any of the “book now” buttons which will take you to our booking page. Simply follow the prompts and you appointment will be scheduled.

When do you provide services?

Our hours of operation are listed below. Please note we are closed most major holidays. If you have questions about when we are available please email our support at [email protected] or call 503.567.5404.

What if my home is larger than average or particularly dirty?

Please contact us to discuss your options. Our flat-rate pricing assumes that your home is of average size for the number of beds and baths you have selected and meets a reasonable level of cleanliness. If the rooms are large than average or dirtier than average our staff may require more time to complete the service requested or may have to reduce their scope of work.

*Please note this is also why we request you either select the total number of beds and baths in your home or contact us if you do not require all rooms to be cleaned prior to booking.

Pricing & Policies

How much will it cost?

Our pricing is based on a flat rate customized for each house. We base our pricing on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in addition to requested tasks. Want a price quote for your home? Go to our homepage and use our simple slider tool to input the perimeters of your home and an estimate will be provided onscreen.

Our flat-rate pricing assumes that your home is of average size for the number of beds and baths you have selected and meets a reasonable level of cleanliness. If the rooms are large than average or dirtier than average our staff may require more time to complete the service requested or may have to reduce their scope of work. If the home is not found to be in “Average” condition or size and takes more than an extra 1 hour to clean we reserve the right to adjust pricing if the client wishes us to continue.

What is your refund policy?

We are dedicate to 100% satisfaction guarantee. If your clean does not live up to standards we will return for a second clean at no cost to you and ensure you get the clean you deserve.

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointments that are already completed.

How do I redeem a voucher?

What is your cancellation policy?

Any bookings must be cancelled at least 48hrs before the scheduled service or a fee or 50% of the services charge will be applied to the account. Otherwise you are able to cancel service at any point in time without incurring any fees.

Can I change a booking after I have already made an appointment?

Bookings may be adjusted at any point up to 48 hrs in advance of the scheduled appointment. Changes to the service can affect the cost and length of the service and may require the service to need rescheduling. For more info on our policy check out our Cleaning Agreement.

What are your terms of service?

Clean Arrival has established a Cleaning Agreement to ensure we can serve you to the best of our abitlities. Check it out here.

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

Yes, all our booking confirmations are done manually so we can ensure our company will be able to meet your needs on the requested service date/time. Confirmation will be sent via email once office staff have time to review the booking.

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Yes! Quality and safety are very important to us. All our professional staff receive a full background check and rigorous training before being sent into your home. Please relax and enjoy your clean!

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

We want to ensure you receive the best service possible. If you have an issue with your clean please let us know within 24 hrs of the service. You can call the Clean Arrival Team directly at 503.567.5404 or email us at [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible to rectify any issues.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Your security is our priority. All our billing is processed through Stripe payment integration, complying with all Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). None of your credit card information is stored in our database, we simply store a token that allows us to charge the card after a clean is completed.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Trust is a must! We have the highest standards for our staff. All potential employees are required to pass a background check in addition to providing professional references before hire.

My Clean

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Standard cleans or maintenance cleans include a variety of services including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Check out everything else here.

How long will my clean take?

That depends. Several factors can affect the length of your clean from the number of crew members we have in the field to the size and condition of the house. Ultimately we respect your time and do our best to complete cleanings in a timely and efficient manner.

When you book you clean we will provide an Estimated Cleaning Time. This refers to the amount of time we predict you clean to take. We tend to give conservative estimates so we aren’t spending an unexpected amount of time in your home in the event that we run into more difficult service needs than originally predicted.

What is included in a deep clean?

Deep cleans are our most thorough services available, providing more extensive detail work than our standard cleans. Check out more details here.

Please Note:

The longer we live in our homes, the more wear and tear builds up in them. Baseboards, the bottom of showers and tubs, mold/mildew, excessive water spots and soap scum on glass shower doors, worn flooring, grout, window tracks, etc. are all areas where wear and tear will impact results. Although we are professionals, we are not miracle workers. Sometimes we are called in too late to correct damage that is already done, these areas may take more than one cleaning to improve in appearance or may not come clean at all.

We will do our best to inform you if this is the case for your home.

How many cleaners will be cleaning my house?

Usually one to two cleaners will preform your clean. The crew size varies depending on scheduling and the size of the cleans.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my cleaners?

What type of products do you use?

We use a combination of traditional and eco-friendly products. Let us know your preferences and we will meet your needs.

Do I need to provide any equipment or cleaning product?

Nope! We bring all the tools we need. Should you request your own products or equipment to be used please leave detailed instructions otherwise we will continue to use tools provided by the company. Clean Arrival assumes no liability from the use of any client’s vacuums, mops, equipment, or product should they be requested.

Are your vacuums HEPA certified?

We ensure all of our vacuums are equipped with HEPA certified filters to provided the maximum amount of clean.

Is there anything you don’t clean?

While we would love to get everything for you but we do have some limitations. Currently we do not offer dish washing, laundry services, personal organization, removal of bodily fluids/waste from pets or humans, or removal of hazardous waste. We also have a number of health and safety restrictions. Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or concerns.

Have special surfaces that need specific products?

Please note that Clean Arrival uses a standard set of cleaning products and tools for the majority of tasks that come our way, and our cleaners are well trained to identify where and when to use them. That being said, we understand that not all houses are that same and you may have some special surfaces and finishes that we may not be familiar with. Please note that in these cases we rely on our customers to inform us of any surfaces that require specific cleaning requirement to avoid damage.
